The Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.

To achieve this prosperity and equality we need the participation of the Private Sector.

Over the last decade, key social issues have risen to the top of our social and political conversations. The United Nations 17 Sustainable development Goals provide an ideal roadmap for how we can all do our part in helping to create a more sustainable and just world for all.

However we must acknowledge that if we are going to truly realise a north star vision for our planet, the private sector must play a pivotal role in helping to bring this vision to life.

Over the course of the UN General Assembly and at COP 29 in Baku , Acumen International Media will be hosting a series of exclusive interviews and networking events gathering leading CEO’s, diplomats, journalist, and UN representatives, discussing key initiatives and projects from the private sector.

Launching on CNBC.com during Climate Week, the SDG Interviews will set the stage for real collaboration and momentum from the private sector.
